University of Georgia

Board Certified Behavioral Analysis Program

Overview

Under the direction of Dr. Kevin Ayres, the University of Georgia applied for and was approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board to offer a sequence of courses and practicum experiences to provide students with the content, knowledge, and experience necessary to allow them to sit for the BCBA certification examination.

Currently, the sequence of courses and practicum experiences are offered only to students who are enrolled in a graduate degree program within the UGA College of Education or who have earned their degree in special education or school psychology from the University of Georgia.

The amount of time required for students to complete this course sequence varies, as it is largely dependent on the extent to which their program of study is aligned with the BCBA course sequence.
